PAGE BRYANT BIOGRAPHY

Page Bryant, 58, lives in Waynesville, North Carolina in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. She is has been married for 21 years to visionary artist, Scott Guynup. Page began her career at the Temple of the Living God, an inter-faith teaching center, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Page and Scott operate Mystic Mountains Teaching and Retreat Center in the home in Waynesville. Page is the mother of two grown daughters, Mary Page and Jamie, and has one young grandson. Page Bryant has been a professional psychic and intuitive counselor for twenty-five years. During that time she has enjoyed numerous accomplishments. From 1973 through 1990, Page had her own radio talk show in several major markets, beginning in 1974 at WDAE in Tampa (weekly talkshow for two years), WFTL in Ft. Lauderdale (talk show six nights a week for two years), KTAR in Phoenix, Arizona (weekly talk show for a year), KMPC in Los Angeles (weekly talk show for almost two years), and WTKN in Pittsburgh (weekly talk show done by telephone for seven years, with bi-annual appearances in Pittsburgh). Page also had her own half-hour television series for thirteen weeks in 1976 in WLCY-TV in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida. Page Bryant was the first psychic to have her own talk shows in the U.S. During the time she was on WFTL in Ft. Lauderdale, her program won the station the Station of the Year Award, and the Program Director, Mike Harvey, won the Program Director of the Year Award two years consecutively. While on KMPC in Los Angeles, Page was a daily-featured guest on the Gary Owens Show.
In 1975, Page Bryant was nominated for the Outstanding Young Women of America award. In 1995 she was nominated for Who’s Who Among International Intellectuals through Cambridge University in England. Page, along with her husband, visionary artist Scott Guynup, have traveled extensively over the past twenty years, throughout the U.S., England, Scotland, and Egypt. During her travels, Page has been a successful lecturer and workshop/seminar facilitator. In March, '95, Mystic Mountains Retreat Center sponsored the first annual Spring Equinox Conference in Asheville, N.C. Page was the first apprentice of Sun Bear, the well-known Chippewa medicine man and founder of the Bear Tribe Medicine Society. Page has been a teacher at Sun Bear's Medicine Wheel Gatherings for the past 14 years. In 1989, shortly before Sun Bear's death, he and Page led a sacred tour to England and Scotland. Page works in England every two years, where she is a popular featured speaker for Alternatives in London. She has also worked in Glastonbury on several occasions. Since 1981, Page and Scott have led their students on spiritual journeys to Egypt, England, and Scotland. The couple have also worked in Alaska (twice) and Hawaii.
Page Bryant is a successful published author. Her books include: The Earth Changes Survival Handbook (Sun Publishing, Santa Fe, N.M.- been in print since 1984); The Magic of Minerals (Sun Publishing); Crystals and Their Use (Sun Publishing); Earth Changes Now! (Sun Publishing); Awakening Arthur! His Return In Our Time (Thorsons/England); The Aquarian Guide to Native American Mythology (Thorsons/England); Terravision: A Traveler's Guide to the Living Planet Earth (Ballantine/ out of print); and The Spiritual Reawakening of the Great Smoky Mountains (self-published). Her newest book Starwalking: Shamanic Practices For Traveling Into The Night Sky (Bear and Company) concerns the astronomy of the ancient peoples worldwide, what they knew about the stars, and how that knowledge influenced them and their lives, the loss humanity has suffered due to our disconnection from the stars, and ways by and through which we can rectify that loss through ceremony, meditation, and study. Page has written feature articles for Wildfire and Tantra magazines, as well as numerous regional and local New Age publications. Page is currently working on her first children’s book on star magic, which will be released next yar.
Over the past 25 years, Page Bryant has worked as a psychic-intuitive counselor. Her clients have included several well-known celebrities, one of which is the famous dancer/movie star, Ann Miller. Page's broad range of metaphysical and scientific knowledge has made her one of the most popular and interesting teachers in the field of alternative thought today. Page's studies include astronomy, physics, astrology, the Ancient Wisdoms, Kaballah, Esoteric Buddhism, Theosophy, Tibetan Buddhism, numerology, aromatherapy, Bach Flower Remedies, Jungian psychology, Native American spirituality, sacred ecology, geomancy and earth mysteries, earth changes, ancient religion and cultures, and mediumship. Page Bryant is currently writing her first novel which she has tentatively titled The Return of the Star Gods. The story is of an apprentice priestess who lived in the Third Dynasty of ancient Egypt, who was trained at the Temple of the Sun in Heliopolis as a star priestess. She is currently negotiating with a publisher for the novel. Page’s first children’s book, Star Magic, will be released in the autumn of 2001 by Dragonhawk Publishing, in correlation with Ted Andrews. Scott Frank Guynup is one of the leading visionary/New Age artists in America today. Scott resides with his wife, Page Bryant, in Waynesville, N.C. He and Page operate the Mystic Mountains Teaching and Retreat Center in the home. Scott is also the proprietor of his own commercial art business, Art For All Occasions. He was also an illustrator in the U.S. Air Force during the early 70s. While living in Tampa, Florida in the mid-seventies, Scott was the Art Director at Ross Advertising Agency, where he did the commercial artwork for numerous celebrities, including Elvis Presley, John Denver, and the Carpenters. Aside from his work in the commercial and fine art fields over the past twenty-two years, Scott offers private sittings with clients during which he makes an attunement to perceive one's guardian angel or spirit guide. The angel or guide is drawn in pastels and is accompanied by a personal reading. Scott has his own line of greeting cards made from his numerous paintings, many of which have a Native American theme. Scott's work and cards have been on sale at Findhorn Community in Scotland, Gothic Image in Glastonbury, and at various book and gift shops in the U.S.. Scott is 50 years old.
