Vortex Trip
This trip is available in spring, summer, and early fall (due to winter weather conditions). The trip takes you to the powerful vortex known as Looking Glass Rock. Teachings regarding the "spirit" of the Rock, and how to make contact with that spirit will be taught. After Looking Glass, you will walk a short distance to the enigmatic Deer Tree, where you will be taught about "deer medicine" and the nature of the power of the deer totem.

In the afternoon you will be driven to the most unique sacred site in the Smokies - Judaculla Rock. Here you will see a huge boulder covered with ancient petroglyphs. Theories about who carved the symbols and what they imply will be taught. Questions posed and discussed at Judaculla will include:

· The legend of the giant, Judaculla

· Is the Rock an ancient star map?

· The moon-eyed people of ancient Appalachia

The tuition for this trip is $100 per person (lunch included).
